Cinch corset update

| 06 July 2015

I woke up on Sunday morning to find a photograph of myself (with the Kardashians) in the Sunday Life wearing my cinch corset, so I thought I’d give you a little update on how I’m getting on.

Originally, I thought this was just a gimmick. Another quick fix with no lasting results. Once a fashion staple for the ideal female form, the corset has made a big, loud comeback with thanks to the Kardashians, Beyoncé and my favourite celeb mother, Jessica Alba.

Jessica Alba is the creator of the “Honest Company”, which sells natural, non toxic products for the household and more recently body care. I’m not going to give you the science but if  it’s good for Jessica it’s good enough for me!

Waist training is done in the name of beauty, dare I say it, sex appeal and the coveted hour glass figure. What are my reasons? Posture!

Growing up as a gawky teenager, I would hear, Shoulders back, keep your back straight almost every day. My speech and drama teacher would tell me “stand tall, suck in your belly.”

Almost two weeks of wearing my corset (in addition to my weight training), I noticed my shoulders are less rounded, I am walking taller, my posture has definitely improved, even when I’m playing with the children on the floor. I have mild sclerosis and I’ve had two c-sections and I’ve noticed more back pain since having Luke, 6 months ago. I would carry him on my left hip and afterwards, my back would be in bits. The Cinch corset has helped me become more aware of how important it is to look after your back.

Not only that, when i have it on, I snack less due to the light compression around my tummy. I can see why it kick starts healthy eating, and has helped to keep me focused on my goals.

This is a review and I have to be honest, I did wear it to the gym and 25mins into my session, it had to come off. I feel like it has helped my posture but during weight training I thought it restricted my range of movement. I hate sit ups anyway but it was uncomfortable and i took it off after the first set. #corsetfail

I found myself sweating more around my tummy area during a cardio session so this will help to burn fat, which is exactly what I want, so I’m giving it a #thumbsup for cardio workouts.

As for my hour glass figure and flat tummy, I cannot recommend this corset enough. This corset has helped me. I can definitely understand why ladies love to wear a corset under a tight little dress for those coveted Kim Kardashian curves.
Overall, it is a great product! For those of you who have emailed asking if it makes you lose weight. No, you have to do that but it does provide instant ‘suck me in’ results, it lifts the bust and increases confidence but to get the absolute maximum results from this product, and to promote further weight loss, follow a healthy diet and drink at least two litres of water each day.
