Bassetts Expands Mid-Ulster Offering with Clady Opening
Northern Ireland’s largest plumbing and heating supplier, Bassetts, has officially opened its new branch in Clady, Portglenone. We were kindly asked to the opening along with local celebrity Jackie Fullerton and Cllr Paul Reid, Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, Cllr Sean McPeake and MLA Ian Milne.
We have been in search of a new en suite and this was the perfect opportunity to see what is available. Being honest, I was surprised at the range of bathrooms and tiles and even more surprised at the dedicated cooker and stove studio. I wasn’t keen on the red mosaic tiles that Leila picked out but I guess, there really is something for everyone. Thankfully, Matt could clearly see that our en suite needs a little love and attention, so over the Christmas period we will visit the new showroom in Bangor.
Whether you are installing a new bathroom, replacing a boiler or simply changing your accessories, Bassetts are definitely worth a visit with 15 branches across Northern Ireland.
The opening is a noteworthy milestone for the leading local business, which is part of the internationally renowned Saint-Gobain Group, bringing Bassetts total branch network in the region to 15.
This significant development is part of the company’s ongoing investment programme and reaffirms Bassett’s steady growth over the past 35 years and its position as Northern Ireland’s largest plumbing and heating supplier. A strong focus on superior design, innovation and cutting-edge technology, alongside its commitment to adapting to the ever-changing needs of customers, has been key to Bassetts’ achievements over the past 35 years. A prime example is the Bassetts Visualiser, NI’s first interactive touchscreen software that allows customers to choose from hundreds of wall and floor tiles to easily create the perfect look in their dream bathroom.
Catering for every need, ranging from boilers and radiators through to bathrooms, showers, tiles and everything in between, Bassetts currently employs over 130 people with 15 branches in Bangor, Belfast, Clady, Coleraine, Downpatrick, Dungannon, Lisburn, Greencastle, L’Derry, Mallusk, Newry, Portadown and Omagh.
